Peperomia prostrata is a species of plant in the genus Peperomia. It is endemic to Ecuador. It is sometimes called string of turtles. Peperomia prostrata is not toxic to animals according to ASPCA.
It has small round leaves with light and dark patterns on the leaves. From a distance, it looks like a string of small turtles connected together, and has a high ornamental value.
